Its lightweight aluminium frame and rolling castor make it easy to deploy, adjust, and secure. While it provides a strong visual barrier, it should be considered a safety and access-control product rather than a high-security gate.

Expandable barriers are also sometimes referred to as scissor gates due to their expandable folding design. However, these products are designed primarily for temporary access control, pedestrian management, and safety applications.

Installing a Pedestrian Barrier is straightforward. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

1. Choose the Size: Measure the width and height of your entry points to determine the appropriate size for your Pedestrian Barrier.

2. Install the Right Side: Fix one side of the barrier to the wall using the included mounting brackets and fixings.

3. Add a Locking System: Equip the other side with an additional locking mechanism, such as a padlock, for enhanced security.

4. Refer to the Photo: In the accompanying photo, the right side is attached to the wall with brackets (shown in silver in the photo, but the actual brackets will be yellow). The barrier expands to the left side, where a drop latch is installed for locking.
